This has been a great opportunity to present ODYS QP solver and MPC products, and discuss our recent advancements in learning-based predictive control. We showed results of benchmarks carried out on an embedded board, comparing our software with other well-known tools for optimization.
We are proud to say that ODYS solver was found to be the fastest, most reliable, and most light on memory of all tested tools in the considered dataset for embedded applications.
We are delighted to announce that ODYS has received the Environmental Excellence in Transportation (E2T) Award 2021 by SAE International for the project “Linear-Parameter Varying Model Predictive Control of Two-CAN SCR Catalysts”, developed in collaboration with General Motors and Punch Torino.
The project presents an innovative control solution based on embedded model predictive control for SCR catalysts, with the goal of maximizing NOx reduction while minimizing the consumption of urea. The new system allows to support tighter emission levels and ensures robustness in all driving conditions.
Established in 2000, the E2T Award recognizes an individual or groups of individuals who through their ingenuity and dedication make significant innovations in reducing the environmental impact caused by the transportation industry.
